When will my baby start walking?

hi every1 my son is now 8.5 months and the last 6 or so weeks he has been pulling himself up onto furniture and now the last 2 weeks have been walking along it holding on - he is doing it quite fast and occasionally lets go. he is still very wobbly and we have had a couple of tumbles. from personal experiences when do you think he may take his first steps?
