What do you do when you drop your ipod in water and the screen stops working?

I dropped my ipod in water and it worked for a little while then when i went to slide the button that says to slide to unlock, the screen wouldn't work. I tried putting it in rice and that didn't work, that i tried blow drying it and that didn't work either. What do i do?
