How to know if your tumble drying your clothes low?

About 99 percent of my clothes say that I must tumble dry them low, I think I understand the buttons which had heavy, medium, and then low but when it says tumble, I'm not sure if is referring to timed drying, automatic dry-miser, or fluff air which is on my dryer.
