How much of an impact did T.V. shows that depicted Cliff & Clair Huxtable type roles have on today's Females?

I didn't watch the tv show for the reasons you stated-I didn't like how Clair treated Cliff-he was like another kid when it came to her-not the kind of relationship I wanted and it irritated me that that relationship and family was suppose to be so "cute" and "perfect". I hope it didn't have much impact as far as male/female relationships go, but they did treat the kids well, their parents well, their co-workers well, and acted half way decently in general, which was as improvement over many other tv shows, especially ones depicting black families.
