How did Bill Cosby affect the 1980's decade?

I'd say the same way he affected the 60's and 70's.Breaking stereotypes that were a bad thing for America for hundreds of years before....By modeling positive roles for what was a new horizon for most black Americans.Love he man for so much more though.....
